Energy-saving and emission reduction means to reduce wasting energy and decrease waste gas discharge.

According to the target set forth in China "the Eleventh Five-year Plan":during the period of "the eleventh five-year plan", reduce GDP unit energy consumption by 20% around and decrease the total volume of major pollutant discharge by 10%. This target is the major measure to implement scientific development concept and build up harmonious socialism society; also it is the requirement by constructing a resource-saving minded and environmental friendly society.

In recent years, China government is proactive in promoting multiple measures targeted on energy saving and emission reduction, accelerating researches on critical techniques for breaking through technical bottle neck, and aiming at providing technological support for energy saving and emission reduction.
