Introduction
Greenpeace, established in 1971, stands for positive change through action to defend the natural world. As one of the most influential environmental organizations in the world, Greenpeace stands for positive change through action to defend the natural world and promote peace. Greenpeace China was established in Hong Kong in 1997 and has since set up offices in Beijing and Guangzhou. Now together with Greenpeace of the other countries, Greenpeace China use research, lobbying, and quiet diplomacy to pursue our goals, as well as high-profile, peaceful actions to raise the level and quality of public debate.
Activities
1.In 2005, Greenpeace launched celebration events in Beijing at the date Kyoto Protocol came into effect, welcoming the dawn of a new era for climate protection.

2.The Rainbow Warrior Asia Clean Energy Revolution Tour In 2005, Greenpeace launched the Rainbow Warrior Asia Clean Energy Revolution Tour, which includes the Rainbow Warrior open days and exhibitions, to demonstrate the potential for the development of wind energy in China. We need to displace our dependence on burning fossil fuel for energy to save our next generation from the dangerous and accelerating impacts of climate change.

3.Green Peace Himalayan Tour
2007.4.20,Greenpeace Himalayan expedition team went to the Himalayas, made the witness and record about the glaciers retreating of world's highest peak. We challenge government and industry to take effective action improve the energy structure,to slow the global warming.
