DNA Duplex Structure Model ---March to Explore the Nature of Life

2007-9-26

American biologist J.D. Watson, born in 1928, and British biophysicist F. H. Grick, born in 1916, brought forward DNA duplex structure model according to DNA X-ray diffraction data of British scientist of crystal diffraction M. Wilkins, born in 1916. They were awarded The Nobel Prize in Physiology or Medicine 1962.
DNA duplex structure model demonstrated the structure of biological heritage substance, opened a new era for molecular biology and established fine foundation for genetics, growth, caducity and evolution from molecular level. Hence, we started our new journey to explore the nature of life.
