I have visited China for more than 40 times, but it's my first time to visit Xi'an. I have been eager to visit Xi'an to see the Qin Terra-Cotta Warriors and Horses. Tomorrow my wish will be fulfilled at last!" Yesterday in the Science Hall of the Fourth Military Medical University, Professor Murad, a Nobel Prize winner in medicine and physiology coming from University of Texas to attend an international seminar, spoke out the secret in his heart when giving his opening address.
Yesterday, renowned scholars from China, Germany, Singapore, Japan and other country gathered in to attend the "2007 International Seminar on Basic Research and Clinical Control of Pain". This is a real "summit". Dr. Ferid Murad from University of Texas, 1998 winner of Nobel Prize in medicine and physiology, a world-renowned expert on pain research attended the seminar and delivered the opening address.
Dr. Murad said excitedly: "I have visited China for more than 40 times, each time I saw new changes in China. It's my first time to visit Xi'an. Although I arrived in XiĄŻan by plane at yesterday night (the 20th day), I saw Xi'an is really a beautiful city. I have been looking forward to coming to Xi'an to see the Qin Terra-Cotta Warriors and Horses. Tomorrow my wish will be fulfilled at last! I will have the opportunity to see the Qin Terra-Cotta Warriors and Horses." Finally he wished XiĄŻan citizens healthy and far away from pains.
