2007 Nobel Prize Winner Forum will hold in Beijing at Sep.11-14. Then 9 Nobel Prize Winners of physics, chemistry and economy, 6 Nobel Prize Winner of resource and environment and more than 20 Chinese scientist will also sttend.

The topic is "resource and environment", the experts will discuss on resource and environment, save energy, etc. The theme is improve the understanding of the domestic academic circle and business circle on the international resource and environment developing situation, enhance the cooperation between China and foreign countries, make reference for the policy setting and strategy research, also improve the understanding of such area in the public.

Beijing Nobel Prize Winner Forum is a top level communication activity, had already spread great effect in the world, 2007 is the third forum.

The first forum was held in 31st,May of 2005-1st June of 2005; the topic is "human and harmonious development" which had the attendees of Joan Nash and other 6 Nobel Prize Winners. ¡°human and harmonious development¡±then became a permanent topic of Beijing Nobel Prize Winner Forum. The 2006 forum's topic was "Life technology and human health", which had the attendees of Li Zhengdao and Wang Xiaodong and other masters of the world.

In this "Resource and environment forum", 15 honored guests will give more than 50 speeches which including "Solar energy industry and its market development", "Science, society and long lasting development", "Conflict between resource and environment: Transfer from vicious circle to fine circle", "Abiochemistry in solving the resource problem", "Nanometer catalyze tech and nanochemistry: effect on environment chemistry and biological environment".

The Nobel Prize Winners will invite CAS physics institute, chemistry institute, atmosphere physics institute, bio-environment center, process & engineer institute, engineer caloric physics institute, policy institute and electrical institute, etc. The CAS also will hold "High level Resource and environment forum".

During the forum, the Beijing municipal government will hold "Save energy and long lasting development forum", CAS will hold "Resource and environment exhibition".

To short the distance of Nobel Prize and the public, foster the youngster's science spirit; the 9 Nobel Prize Winners came into the Beijing Schools and talk with the students. They will visit Beijing normal university, Beijing industry university, Beijing chemistry university, Tsinghua university, Beijing aviation university, CAS master institute, Beijing science and industry university, and give lectures in the 7 universities. Besides, the students of Beijing No. 8 middle school and middle school of the capital normal university will have chance to communicate with the masters in 11-12, Sep.

Besides, for the audience rating was high last year, CCTV 2 and Beijing TV will continue to live show on the opening ceremony and the speechs.

The 2007 Nobel Prize Winner Forum which will be held by CAS and Beijing municipal government; CAS chairman Lu Rongxiang and mayor of Beijing-Wang Qishan is the committee director.
