One day, little Crick walked to his mother, slowly asked, with his brows wrinkled, ¡®Mum, people discovered many things in recent years, right?'
'Yes, that is true.'
'And there are many things ready for people to discover, right ? '
'Uh-huh!'
'Will it come true that all things in world would have been discovered by others when I grow up?'
'No, it won't.'said his mother, with smiling on her face.
At this time, little Crick finally stretched his brows, which indicated his burden in mind had been released. 'What happened? Why did you ask such questions?' his mother could not help ask Crick. Little Crick was a little shamefaced and his face turned red. He said, very slowly, 'I was thinking about the question in these days, and I doubted what I can do if others would have discovered all things in the world.'
His mother affably said, 'People discovered and invented many things in the world, but you know, there are too many things for people to explore with, which require hundreds or thousands years of great efforts. Besides, the invented and discovered things still need improvement before they can serve better. Ease, kid. When you grow up, there will be more things for you to explore with and invent.'
His mother, in order to encourage Crick, continued his saying with patience, 'It is not that easy to discover the secret of the world. You need more readings, and more knowledge....'The doubt of little Crick was given up, but his curiosity in the mystery world and willing of knowledge seeking grew stronger. As he grew, he found it's not enough to resolve all his questions with the help from books and his teachers, then he started to do experiment at home by himself. Every time when he successfully found the answer to his question, he would dance for joy, and share his achievements to neighboring people. When his experiments were not successful or not smooth, he would silently sit there, reading or thinking alone.
Tips DNA is the abbreviation of deoxyribonucleic acid. Creatures pass down genetic information through copy of DNA, and that is why mother cat can give birth to a little car rather than a little dog.
